HLP was founded in 2003 in Gastonia, North Carolina. The HannLeb name was created by combining the two names of the original founder’s children, Hannah and Caleb. HLP continued to grow in the Charlotte, North Carolina market before becoming a Southeast consulting group. HLP has provided medical physics consulting nationwide, and provides clinical support in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.

David Cameron, MS DABR has a BS in Physics from Hampden-Sydney College in Farmville, Virginia where he was a member of the HSC baseball team, the Society of ’91 leadership program, the Beta Chi Chapter of Alpha Chi Sigma science fraternity, and the President of the Society of Physics during his junior year. After receiving his physics degree, David obtained his Masters of Science from the CAMPEP accredited program at Virginia Commonwealth School of Medicine. David has been a member of the HLP team since 2010, and has served in a leadership position since 2017. He has a strong interest in API, automation, workflow efficiencies, accreditation, and medical physics 3.0.
